SUMMARY

After an intense professional activity as a free lance, during which I developed strong competences in the administration of systems and networks, I founded an IT company, where I was the Technical Director. I then moved to the ITC department of an important insurance company (Lloyd Italico), part of a multinational group based in the UK (Royal & Sun Alliance), as a project leader and network administrator. In Bibop Research Int. Spa, cross media agency in Milano, I was the IT manager and I work on projects both internal and external.
In ECS Solutis since 2002 I am actively working as a Senior Project Manager, specializing in the business continuity and security fields in eterogeneous environment.

As a Project Manager I am in charge of the integration of ITC services and solutions at the main customers. I am responsible for the pre-sale phase, supporting the sales force, qualifying the solution and stating the price)
and of the post-sale phase as well, as long as the deployment lasts.
The activity is mainly focused on security and business continuity. My experience in the networking has allowed me to develop some original solutions in disaster recovery projects. A relevant part of my activity consists in consultancy (about 30%).
ECS Solutis is the ITC company of ECS group, fully owned by the biggest privately-held bank group in France (Société Générale)

As IT Manager I am in charge of the internal network (a fully integrated data/voice solution based on Lucent and Cisco devices), of the external links to the Internet and of the intranet. I managed directly the project from
the provisioning to the tuning.
I am in charge of the management of both internal and external systems (mainly based on Sun and IBM RISC/6000, including a cluster of H80 with AIX 4.3 and HACMP/ES), including the Linux based Intel servers.
I used both commercial (Lotus Domino 5 in a Linux environment) and Open Source Software (like OpenLDAP for the directory services, the apache web and application servers, Postfix and Cyrus as mail servers, etc.) .
I managed directly the deployment for the customers' systems. Among the customers: Intravisione, Virgin Music, Saati M&C, IED, 2008sms, some Mediaset artists, etc.).
I am in charge of DNS maintenace as a mainteiner for NIC (the italian register) and Bulkregister.
I manage the provisioning for the all ITC department and the internal deployment of software and clients.

Project Manager for the new data network between headquarters and agencies. I managed the initial idea, the provisioning and the deployment. I personally managed to implement a new and open way of communication
between HQ and agencies writing a Windows Service to manage FTP and mail. This alllowed to fully substitute the old legacy system based on a proprietary software).
Project Manager for the Intranet of the National Claims Offices (30).
Project Manager for the deployment of the new servers for the agencies (over 200 Windows NT Servers deplyed in unattended mode in less than 3 months).
